Pernat/Haase Meats in Juneau is the original Pernat’s location. This store has been in operation since 1982 under Brian and Bonnie and has had multiple additions added on to keep up with demand. This store has a smaller store front but still offers all the great smoked sausages as well as other homemade products.
This facility is our animal harvest plant and offers custom options for farmers and customers to have beef and hogs butchered to their specifications. We offer ¼, ½ and whole beef as well as ½ and whole hog processing. Butchering has been the staple that started us and has taken us to where we are today as a company. Our Processing plant is Fully state inspected, so our customers can resale animals at farmers markets or from their business.
Pernats is also known for our venison processing and sausage making. We make a huge selection of products made from venison. Besides processing whole deer, we also except boneless venison to make our homemade recipes for you to enjoy. With over 47 products and flavors to pick from we can assure we have something for everyone to enjoy!
